Ananya, a graduate of NIT Suratkal, joined o9 Solutions,
right out of college in 2019.

She enjoyed reading books till she was in middle grade.
​
But then academics took precedence over everything and reading for leisure became a distant dream.
​
When the pandemic began and staying at home became the new norm, Ananya was eager to start her reading journey again.
​
Serendipitously, in March this year, o9 Solutions partnered with MyBookWorks to launch a first-of-its-kind corporate reading program for all o9ers in India.

During MyBookWorks’ onboarding session, I was excited to hear about
how it offers personalized book recommendations.

In fact, when I signed up for MyBookWorks, it asked me to share my reading preferences and my biggest challenges with respect to reading books.
​
That was a really powerful way to understand me as an individual and my specific reading journey.

Why do I say it was powerful?

Because the first book recommendation that I received from MyBookWorks was truly personalized for me. I loved reading the book so much! In fact, I finished the book in one day; it felt unbelievably great.

I must admit that when I first heard about MyBookWorks, I wasn’t sure if it’ll be able to help me reconnect with reading the way I did when I was in school.

That’s because last year, few of my friends had recommended a book, which I ordered from Amazon. My high hopes were dashed to the ground within the first few pages of the book. It was an ordeal reading the book and I soon gave up reading it. Admittedly, I became apprehensive about reading books after this experience.
